The idea of elevator pitches may be passed, but you still need some way to introduce yourself that isn’t vague, doesn’t go on for a day-and-a-half, and serves as the cornerstone of your brand (and your WordBrand). Barbara will take you through ways to mine for the content of your authentic intro, her favorite templates and formulas (sort of like introduction Madlibs!) and the things most people forget when preparing their introductions.

As a content coach, Barbara Govednik help solo business owners who struggle to articulate what they do and who want a better way to meet the endless content demands of their business. She learned the skills, tools and tricks of messaging through decades working in corporate communications as an employee and then running a consultancy specializing in internal communication. The foundation of all her work is her journalism education where she learned to write fast and keep asking questions. Plus, she has the same birthday as Shakespeare, so she likes to think she was born to focus on words.
