CWC Chicago: Creative Brunch May 2016

Do you have a mentor? What is a mentor? On our May brunch event, we talked about mentorship! Have you heard the saying, “For every successful woman, there’s a mentor”? From our experience, a mentor is essential to success.

Our founder Ari Krzyzek from Chykalophia and Jacqueline Marie of Tweaked Style shared their insight, tips and guidance on finding a mentor and where to start.

The event started with an interactive session from Jacqueline, guiding all of our attendee few characteristic that they would want their mentor to be and NOT to be. We came up with quite a long list which we know will only grow longer.

Right after, Ari led the presentation on Mentorship 101, few places to start looking for a mentor and how to get started. Knowing how everyone have something to share, we all enjoyed the conversations and sharing what we know in order to inspire others.
